System Design Exercise 1: Up Goer Five

We will spend today's class expanding and reworking one of your current system domain analyses. You will work in groups of two.

You will have the first half of class to:

• Choose 1 of your current system analyses
• Prepare at least 2 diagrams (functional and conceptual/state diagram) using some sort of software drawing tool (Adobe InDesign, MS Visio, MS Paint, Keynote/Powerpoint, Dia Diagram Editor, etc)
• Prepare a short, 5 minute max presentation using only the 1000 most frequently used words in the English language
• Post your "Up Goer Five" analysis on your media blog, you can link to your partner's page

You will then present your analysis in the second half of class.

As you're working in groups, it's up to you to split up the work, making sure for an equitable exchange including presentation time.
